April 25: Macro May with Chelsie Orlofske

Macro May is a FREE challenge open to B3 members and the public. The goal of the challenge is to encourage people to take a look at what they’re eating and how it affects their body.

Get started with B3 Gym’s Macro May Challenge:

Step 1: Download MyFitnessPal (or another tracking app), join the Macro May Facebook group and track your REGULAR eating habits for 2 weeks. Look at percentages of carbs, fats, and protein you eat. More info about macros and tracking here and in part 1 of the macros B3 Beat here.

Step 2: Start adjusting macros, use 30% protein, 30% fats and 40% carbs to start.

Step 3: Adjust macros from here. If not seeing results start lowering carb percentages. *Females* – be careful lowering fat too much as it can mess with hormones.

Step 4: Track progress using a mixture of pictures, scale and body measurements.
