FAQs

What will my first time in your gym be like?

One of our awesome coaches will give you a tour of our facility and get to know all about YOU. We’ll talk through what you’ve tried in the past for fitness and nutrition, and what your current goals are and why they are so important to you. We’ll do a short workout tailored specifically to you and your fitness level. We’ll talk about what we do at B3 Gym and show you how and why it works so well.

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?

We know that you have a lot of options on where to workout. What’s best: a treadmill at home, the globo gym down the street that is $15/month, a CrossFit membership? We encourage you to ask a different question. What are your goals? Personalized attention? Trained, professional coaches? Accountability? Working out with a group of like-minded people who cheer on your success? If the answer to any of the above is “yes”, then we’d encourage you to check us out.

What’s your drop-in policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other boxes come workout with us!
If you’re just passing through, our drop in fee is $20 per class. We also offer a week-long punch pass for $75. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our box. You can find our class schedule Here.

How often do you recommend I come to the gym?

If you’re just starting a new fitness program, we recommend coming three days/week for your first few weeks, and then building to four and five days a week. We program out workouts so that our members can come to class every single day if they want!

What exactly is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fitness program that will change your life! By it’s definition, it is “constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity.” What does that mean? Every day will be different in terms of movements, intensity level, and workout format. You can use your strength and fitness gains in the gym and apply it to your life outside. Go kayaking, carry your groceries, run a 5k. Higher intensity workouts are super effective and burning fat and building lean muscle. Your workout is just 60 minutes a day!

I’m not in very good shape… can I do CrossFit?

The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is that our community is made up of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day are designed for anyone to do them.

Yes, anyone.

I heard that CrossFitter’s use their own language, can you help me with the terms?

Sure! This is a great link that will help get you started – http://greatist.com/fitness/ultimate-guide-crossfit-lingo.  Word of caution: No need to be intimidated by this… ☺ We’ll walk you through it all!
